To the moon and back

Posted on August 11, 2016 by Mwasafari

As far as it sounds
As long as it takes
As difficult as it gets
As long as I remain black
I will love you to the moon and back

Tot de maan en terug, Boo
Tot de maan en terug, Boo

Through the rough terrain
Across the turbulent seas
Over the tallest mountains
Down the deepest valleys
To the moon and back

The crescent or the half moon
The summer or the winter
The gibbous or the full moon
The spring or the fall
To the moon and back

In the middle of night
Standing on the balcony
You are not in sight
But we are in harmony
We can both see the moon

Faithfully shining bright
It does give me hope
Of seeing you again
How far will I go?
To the moon and back

I will go out of this world
Through cold and darkness
Against the force of gravity
Guess how much I love you?
To the moon and back
